Pyrrhus replied to one that gave him joy of his victory that one more such victory would utterly undo him. We come back to that account when we think of the vote of no confidence, the dismissal of T.R. Hanrahan, and the continual demeaning of faculty. We have existed because someone, somehow should call bullshit. But, like the former incarnation of The Chart, we have been beaten down.
Like Pyrrhus, we have left our best on the field. And we have sacrificed all in a good effort. But, much like his effort against the Romans, we cannot win.
Bruce Speck is an asshole. And he isn’t going anywhere soon.
